Angel Xpress (AXF) is a Mumbai-based non-profit organisation. As a volunteer-led, community-based organisation, we provide a platform to bridge the socio-economic divide in our cities. We enable educated, affluent citizens to empower students from low-income families within their neighbourhoods, with education, skilling and development.

We can help students and their families embrace success

Schools that are attended by our students complete only 35% of the annual curriculum. Yet, they are promoted to higher classes with weak foundational knowledge. These schools suffer from teacher shortages, especially for Maths, English, and Science. This leads to a high student-teacher ratio with a lack of quality teaching. Poor English comprehension and speaking skills can even lead to higher dropouts in UG colleges.

How we bridge the gap

We focus on clarifying and strengthening concepts before advancing students. Our curriculum is based on efficient communication, critical and logical thinking, and empathetic life skills. This helps curb school and college dropouts as they cope better with the curriculum, helping students move towards gainful employment and improved quality of life.

Our mission is to provide opportunities for committed, loving and enthusiastic adults to mentor first-generation learners from economically marginalised communities, through collaboration with local communities, schools, corporates, government agencies, and other developmental organisations.
