Children of the World (India) Trust
CWIT focuses on abandoned and underprivileged children regardless of religion, region, caste or creed.
CHILDREN OF THE WORLD (INDIA) TRUST, (CWIT), is a secular, non-profit, non-political, public charitable trust duly registered under The Bombay Public Trusts Act, 1950. CWIT was established in 1982 by Children of the World (Norway) and by Mrs. Simone Naval Tata and other Founding Trustees. CWIT’s primary focus is to help underprivileged children, their families and communities, regardless of religion, region, language, caste or creed.
CWIT’s child care activities are located at our Child Care Centre at Nerul and at multiple community centres located in different slum colonies in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra.
